Role Overview

For those who have a fervor for fashion and a keen interest in team leadership, this position presents an exciting opportunity.

The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that champions inclusivity and positive interactions. To drive the store's performance, they guide and motivate the team to meet sales and profitability objectives. Additionally, they engage in recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and professional development. Their adaptability to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and fluctuating schedules is crucial for their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the store meets corporate objectives and achieves key performance metrics.
  • Lead the store operations by ensuring efficient task distribution (including adherence to company policies, loss prevention, payroll management, reporting, and scheduling).
  • Contribute to the recruitment, management, development, and training of enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about sales, customer service, and fashion.
  • Execute merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting atmosphere that encourages customer engagement.
  • Establish clear and effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role or as a supervisor in a customer-centric environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve success through outstanding sales performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting while committing to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
