Job Summary

Associated Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Hydrogeologist (Intermediate) to join our team. As a key member of our environmental consulting group, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in hydrogeology and water resources management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct hydrogeological investigations and assessments to identify groundwater resources and potential contamination risks.
  • Develop and implement groundwater monitoring programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to provide technical advice and support on hydrogeological issues.
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to inform water resources management decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote Associated Engineering's services and expertise.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in geology or geoscience with a focus in hydrogeology.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a related field; preference will be given to candidates with consulting experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with technical and non-technical clients and contractors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working safely in remote areas and extreme environments and weather conditions.
  • Proficiency with hydrogeological software used for technical analyses, data management and modeling.
  • Familiarity with Canadian surface water and groundwater regulations and best practices.
  • Professional registration (e.g. P.Geo. or P.Geol.) or eligibility to become registered within the next couple of years.
  • Valid driver's license.
