About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Handler to join our team at Your Friend with a Cube Van Inc. as a key member of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Labeling and Packaging: Make labels and attach them to goods, as well as wrap and pack goods for transportation.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods efficiently to ensure safe and secure transportation.
  • Installation and Securing: Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
  • Transportation and Distribution: Transport and distribute materials and goods to various locations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding activities.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling and packaging.
