Job Title: Auto Body Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repairer to join our team at HARMAN AUTO COLLISION INC.

Job Summary:

The Auto Body Repairer will be responsible for repairing and refinishing damaged vehicles to their original condition. This includes replacing front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components, as well as filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components.
  • Filing, grinding, and sanding body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Masking and taping auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Hammering out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
  • Removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolting or welding replacement parts into place.
  • Applying primers and repainting surfaces.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Operating soldering equipment or using plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Straightening bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in auto body repair.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Professionalism in customer service.
  • Clean and maintain work space.
  • Instruct apprentices.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding.
Work Environment:

The Auto Body Repairer will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
