Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join our team at Modern Niagara Group Inc.

About the Role

The Occupational Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and visitors. This includes conducting workplace inspections, investigating accidents and incidents, and providing training and education to employees on health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement health and safety training programs for employees
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and wellness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
