Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at QUESADA BURRITOS AND TACOS. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Invoicing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare invoices, and manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other accounting software.
This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
