Restaurant Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at 653349 N.B. Inc. dba Dairy Queen Amherst. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • English language required
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
