About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier and Sales Assistant to join our team at SRF Grocery Store Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Process customer transactions, including scanning items and receiving payment
  • Assist customers with self-checkout and provide excellent customer service
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Perform tasks such as weighing produce and bulk foods, and wrapping or placing merchandise in bags
  • Monitor store entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
