Your Impact:

Within our Fortify Application Security portfolio, we're working on groundbreaking projects that leverage AI and machine learning. As a key contributor, you'll be working on the Fortify Aviator solution for SAST issue auditing and remediation, as well as Debricked, our software composition analysis solution. You'll have the opportunity to drive innovation and create meaningful solutions that address real-world problems.

What the Role Offers:

  • Lead and mentor junior AI/ML and data science colleagues in the Canada location.
  • Act as a thought leader in the global Fortify AI/ML and data science community.
  • Contribute to existing initiatives and propose new ones in the Fortify Aviator and Debricked areas.
  • Research and implement new AI/ML and data science activities in the Fortify SAST and SCA areas.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant industry experience.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
  • Research experience in machine learning, deep learning, and/or natural language processing.
  • Experience developing applications powered by LLMs.
  • Experience in developing and training AI/ML models.
  • A basic understanding of application security (OWASP Top-10, etc.) and application security testing techniques (SAST, SCA).
  • Hands-on programming skills in Python and Java, with other languages a plus.
  • Good written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Very good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A deep understanding of AppSec and AppSec testing, along with hands-on experience with SAST and SCA tools, would be highly advantageous.
