About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Young Family. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide companionship and care to our elderly clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our clients' needs are met
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to promote healthy eating habits
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
