Radiologic Technologist

Joseph Brant Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures, including post-processing, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures, including post-processing, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Completion of formal radiological technology training with an approved school of radiography.
- Recent post-graduate experience in performing CT procedures, including post-processing, is preferred.
- Active registration with the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES) is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to respond to new implementations and challenges, with a strong commitment to quality and patient safety.
