Job Summary

Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee the operation of our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials: Accurately estimate the costs of materials and labor required for production.
  • Prepare production reports: Prepare detailed reports on production progress, including any issues or concerns.
  • Recruit and hire workers: Recruit and hire skilled workers to join our team, and oversee their training and development.
  • Train or arrange for training: Provide training and development opportunities for our team members to ensure they have the skills needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Co-ordinate and schedule production activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production deadlines.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace, and that our team members are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
  • Oversee the operation of company: Oversee the overall operation of the company, including production, quality control, and customer service.
  • Requisition or order materials: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support production.
  • Set up machines and equipment: Set up and maintain machines and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Supervise workers and projects: Supervise our team members and projects to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines: Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
