Event Manager

UNICEF Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Development team as a Manager, Events & Experiences. This role will be responsible for delivering fundraising events and other in-person experiences that drive revenue growth and deepen relationships with supporters.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a national event strategy that aligns with UNICEF Canada's fundraising goals and objectives.
- Plan and execute high-quality events that meet attendance and revenue targets, including the UNICEF Water for Life Gala and Chefs for UNICEF.
- Build and maintain relationships with event sponsors, donors, and volunteers to ensure a best-in-class guest experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Development team to identify and cultivate new event opportunities and partnerships.
- Manage event budgets, track revenues and expenses, and provide regular financial reports to the Director, Community.
- Use data and insights to inform event planning and evaluation, and make recommendations for ongoing development and improvement.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or event planning, with a proven track record of delivering successful events and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level executives, donors, and volunteers.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge database and ability to track relationships and run reports.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- English/French bilingualism is an asset.
UNICEF Canada offers a competitive salary range of $63,500 to $77,500 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
