Job Title: Stylist, Hair

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist to join our team at Tida Hair Salon.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hair design and a keen eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and styling hair to meet the needs of our clients. You will also provide custom hair and scalp treatments, apply bleach, tints, and dyes, and offer hair extensions and styling services.

Responsibilities:
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions
  • Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
Requirements:
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification
  • Experience in hair styling techniques, including blow drying, hair braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, extensions, locking, relaxing, spiking, pin curls, and roller setting
  • Knowledge of hair colouring techniques, including bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, and streaking/highlights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced hair stylists and beauty professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
