Delivery SpecialistWe are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Operate and drive company vehicles to safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including items received, delivered quantities, and any discrepancies.
- Prepare, package, and restock goods as needed, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Sort packages for delivery, adhering to established routes and schedules.
- Record detailed trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any encountered issues.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
