Lead the Way in Optical Retail

As a seasoned retail professional, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in our Optical Department. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, including employee scheduling, labour management, and maintaining strong working relationships with Head Office.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  2. Manage employee scheduling and labour to meet business needs.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Head Office to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  4. Meet and exceed sales targets for the Optical Department.
  5. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  6. Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses, and specialty eyewear, based on provincial regulations.
  7. Order and receive product to meet customer demand.
  8. Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.

Requirements:
  1. Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year Optical experience.
  2. Management experience is an asset.
  3. Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  4. Highly organized, diligent, with strong time management capabilities.
  5. Enthusiastic and concise communication to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  6. A love for fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry.
