Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Highway Fleet Maintenance LTD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions, adjusting equipment and replacing defective parts as needed.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Service attachments and working tools, and verify and repair emission control systems.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • English language proficiency.
