Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Cost products and services to optimize profitability and maintain high-quality standards.
- Organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and ensure timely restocking.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Customer Service
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue streams.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise a team of more than 20 people, including working groups, contractors, and staff in various areas of responsibility.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge
- Utilize MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word to manage data, create reports, and present information.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
- Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.
- Personal Suitability
- Demonstrate accuracy, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
- Experience
- Have 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Be available to work 40 to 44 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
