About the RoleAs a psychologist with our team, you'll work collaboratively with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams and mental health teams to provide evidence-based and process expertise to meaningful step-care mental health programs. Your work will focus on delivering individual and group treatment for conditions such as anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new mental health program content for diverse client groups
- Deliver individual and group treatment sessions using a client-centered biopsychosocial approach
- Consult with mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Participate in program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial College/Board of Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical (asset: counselling psychology, health/rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology) for Alberta
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
