Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our compliance efforts in evaluating high-risk clients. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating the execution of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) assessments for high-risk clientele.
  • Evaluating transaction activities of high-risk customers to ensure alignment with their business nature.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk evaluations for both new and existing clients.
  • Leading initiatives aimed at enhancing EDD processes.
  • Staying informed on global EDD regulations, including FATF guidelines and local compliance requirements.
  • Providing expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
  • Managing escalations related to high-risk customers from various business units.
  • Drafting essential documentation, including policies, procedures, training materials, and impact assessments.

Qualifications

  • ACAMS, ACFCS, or other relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and EDD requirements.
  • Understanding of AML/CFT regulations and sanctions risks.
  • Familiarity with global licensing standards pertinent to financial services and cryptocurrency operations.
  • Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Preference for candidates located in the Americas or APAC regions.
