About the Role

The Tax Compliance Advisor, North America is a key member of our team responsible for ensuring the compliance of BRP's Canadian legal entities with Canadian tax legislations. This role requires monitoring the evolution of different tax legislations and determining their impacts or opportunities for BRP. The selected candidate will actively participate in research and implementation of strategies to mitigate negative impacts or capitalize on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process for certain entities of the group.
  • Identify and document tax risks and propose relevant mitigation strategies.
  • Organize, prepare, and explain the results of the tax accounting process for certain entities of the group.
  • Manage certain tax audits.
  • Analyze current processes and develop and implement continuous improvement solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Legal and Treasury departments and provide ongoing support to the different business units.
Requirements
  • Recognized professional title in accounting.
  • Master's degree in taxation or equivalent an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and synthetic ability.
  • Knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in tax compliance.
  • Good management of priorities and deadlines.
