Security Triage Engineer

Arctic Wolf is seeking a highly skilled Triage Security Engineer to join our Security Services team. As a Triage Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying, detecting, and notifying customers of security events within their environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze incoming security events from various data sources, including network, endpoint, and log data.
- Prioritize events based on severity and impact, ensuring timely and effective response.
- Work closely with Concierge Security Teams to provide post-incident remediation activities.
- Conduct thorough investigations, leveraging security knowledge and expertise to engage with internal and external teams.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various threats and forms of attack, staying up-to-date with emerging security trends.
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance the security platform, improving signal-to-noise ratios and reducing false positives.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team growth and development.
- 1+ years of experience in Information Security, Network Security, or Cyber Security roles.
- 1+ years of experience in Network Administration, System Administration, Cloud Administration, or similar roles.
- Deep technical competency in two or more areas, including Networking, Perimeter Security, Authentication, IaaS, Endpoint Security, and SaaS.
- Experience working in a Security Operation Center, security incident response teams, or roles with security forensics or malware analysis disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
