POSITION: Paid Internship, Equity Investment Analyst

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Private Investigator Paignton is seeking to recruit one (1) intern who will collaborate closely with the entire team.

The chosen intern will play a vital role within the investment team. They will engage directly with a diverse group of experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, and operators, contributing to the comprehensive process of equity investment, which includes research, company valuation, transaction execution, and value-enhancement initiatives.

This internship will provide the intern with essential investment and business acumen by joining a team of seasoned investment professionals dedicated to building market-leading companies.

The internship duration will be determined based on the intern's availability (minimum of 3 months).

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Full-time student or recent graduate from a finance program at a Canadian university, at either the undergraduate (bachelor's) or graduate (master's, graduate diploma, PhD) level.

Completion of at least one full year of studies if at the undergraduate level.

Prior completion of a full-time finance internship (minimum of 4 months).

Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership qualities.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
