Job Title: Graphic Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Ontario Impex of Canada Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Description:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual communications that meet the needs of our clients. This includes designing and developing illustrations, graphics, and other visual elements for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
  • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations
  • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations
  • Adapt existing illustrations
  • Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
  • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
  • Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colours
Work Environment:

The Graphic Designer will work in a multidisciplinary environment and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Graphic Designer will work 35 hours per week.
