Position Overview

NSB Supply Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in welding techniques and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Work conditions may be characterized as hot, noisy, and dirty.
Work Setting
  • Opportunities available at various locations including institutional and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications effectively.
  • Operate both manual and automated welding equipment.
  • Read and understand welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Utilize manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines including brakes and shears.
  • Employ oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) for precise cuts.
  • Assess the weldability of various materials.
  • Fabricate or repair metal components using set-up welding machines.
  • Utilize brazing or soldering machines to bond metals or fill imperfections.
  • Manage robotic welding production lines, including start-up, shut down, adjustments, and monitoring.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • Work language: English.
  • Expected working hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
