Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Control Equipment Fitter to join our team at B4U ELECTRICAL LTD. This permanent position requires a commitment to quality and precision in assembling electrical components.

Key Details
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The role involves working in various conditions, including:

  • Noisy environments
  • Exposure to odours and dust
  • Temperature variations, including hot and cold
  • Working at heights and in confined spaces
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assembling and fitting metal and prefabricated components with precision according to technical drawings
  • Building stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
  • Recording and summarizing inspection results
  • Compressing steel laminations for transformer cores
  • Integrating windings into cores and establishing electrical connections
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics
  • Fitting electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards
  • Wiring electrical connections for switchboards and panel boards
  • Assembling cabinets and installing bus bars
  • Monitoring production processes and resolving issues
  • Ensuring final assembly meets quality control standards
  • Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following is required:

  • MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word
  • Crimping, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Metal fabrication machinery
  • Production machinery
Inspection and Testing

Specialization in:

  • Electrical assemblies
Physical Requirements

The role demands:

  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to perform overtime as needed
Transportation
