Apiary Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Apiary Supervisor to join our team at Ecco Recycling and Energy Corporation. As an Apiary Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apiary, ensuring the health and productivity of our bee colonies, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Apiary Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our apiary, including honey production, bee health management, and equipment maintenance.
- Beekeeping Operations: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our beekeeping equipment, including extractors, smokers, and protective gear.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of beekeepers and apiary assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of our apiary.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of apiary operations, including honey production, bee health, and equipment maintenance.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as apiculture, biology, or environmental science.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in apiary management or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications in apiculture or beekeeping.
- Work Environment: Outdoor work environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
