Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team at Stevenson Waplak and Associates as a Child and Youth Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to children and youth in a hospital or medical facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention
    • Conduct thorough assessments of children and youth to identify their needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
    • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support children and youth in achieving their goals.
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement life skills workshops to support children and youth in developing essential skills.
    • Conduct social research to inform program development and implementation.
  • Administrative and Support Functions
    • Supervise support staff to ensure effective program delivery.
    • Maintain accurate program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting
    • Hospital or medical facility setting.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term
    • Permanent position.

    • English.
  • Hours
    • 40 hours per week.
