Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team at SMARTSTONE CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping and storage.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods to optimize storage space.
  • Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transport.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented individual with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and able to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
