Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid license to practice pharmacy in British Columbia, or eligibility for licensure by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Key Skills and Abilities

This role requires:

  • The ability to identify and resolve drug therapy problems.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills, with minimal supervision.
  • Independence and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients, and family members.
  • Ability to operate related equipment, including standard computerized office software applications.
  • Physical and emotional ability to perform the duties of the position.
