Job Summary

Job Title: Package Operations Clerk

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries, taking ownership of customer's shipping needs and offering viable solutions.

  • International Shipping: Validate international shipping address corrections and data entry, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of packages.

  • Customs and Brokerage: Assist in validating customs and brokerage documentation and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

  • Product Knowledge: Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends, staying up-to-date on company services and promotions.

  • Operational Efficiency: Operate all equipment, software, and devices, training others as needed, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications, with the ability to learn and operate new software and equipment.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, up to 70-lbs unassisted, on an occasional basis, and work in a warehouse and belt-operations environment.
