About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at ProStyle Cleaning. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Changing Rooms and Showers: Clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner at ProStyle Cleaning, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. You will be required to walk and bend, crouch, and kneel.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
