Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and self-driven Senior Systems RAMS Manager who excels in dynamic settings. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of responsibilities ranging from operational tasks to strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the organization, scheduling, execution, and assessment of project RAMS and V&V activities, ensuring adherence to budgetary, scheduling, and quality standards.
  2. Guarantee compliance with system safety and reliability specifications.
  3. Define and implement the Project V&V governance framework and guidelines for the integrated system and relevant subsystems/products, validating the execution through V&V Plan reviews and approvals.
  4. Generate and manage project RAMS documentation.
  5. Coordinate the execution and delivery of all project RAMS activities, collaborating with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other departments as necessary to facilitate information exchange.
  6. Communicate with the Project Manager regarding:
    1. Workload management, including regular updates and analysis of any discrepancies;
    2. Critical path management and alignment of RAMS timelines with the overall project schedule to prevent unplanned disruptions;
    3. Proactive risk management to identify potential cost, schedule, technical, and resource challenges, along with proposed recovery strategies.
  7. In collaboration with assigned RAMS Work Package Leaders, estimate RAMS activities and ensure V&V activity estimations are agreed upon with the Project Manager and financial controller.
  8. Facilitate the safety assessment (ISA) certification (NoBo).
  9. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
  10. Provide schedule and cost constraints to relevant Product, Signaling, and System RAMS Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in RAMS.
  2. Knowledge of V&V processes and techniques.
  3. Expertise in RAMS analysis and methodologies.
  4. Familiarity with international and national standards.
  5. Experience in RAM/Safety Management.
  6. Technical knowledge of systems and subsystems.
  7. Project Management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Project Management or Project Engineering is advantageous.

Education:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent technical experience.

Language Proficiency:

  1. Fluency in English is required.
