Project Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Northern Employment Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project baselines, monitoring and reporting project performance, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including WBS and critical path analysis.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate scheduling risks.
  • Implement project scheduling processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project budget and cost estimates.
  • Monitor and report project performance, including schedule and cost variances.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

  • 10 years' experience in project scheduling in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with strong numerical ability, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP and Primavera 6.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a combination of work and education.
