Store Associate

This position is a vital part of our retail store's success. As a Store Associate, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, resolve any concerns promptly, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent sales service to customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services
- Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, fostering trust and loyalty
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Meet sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, contributing to the store's success
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas, ensuring efficient operations
- Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, as needed, to meet customer demands
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications, providing a high level of quality and service
- Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment
- Clean store equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment
- Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with inventory management
- Assist with deliveries, as needed, to meet customer needs
- Maintain assigned areas in-stock and presentable, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Remain knowledgeable about products offered, discussing available options with customers
- Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels
- Suggest ways to improve sales, contributing to the store's growth and success
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Have at least a high school diploma or GED
- Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
