We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The David Sullivan Group of Companies LTD.-IGA#016. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and selling high-quality meats to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh and sell meats to customers
- Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters
- Operate manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines
As a Meat Cutter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
