Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at SADA Cultural Daycare and AfterSchool Inc. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional support to our culinary team, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
