Fraser Health is seeking a Health and Safety Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement OH&S policies, procedures, and programs to meet health and safety legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Provide training and education to employees on OH&S principles and practices.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety and wellness.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent experience.
  • Registration as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a unionized environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
