Restaurant Host

Smitty's Restaurant is seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team

We are a leading Canadian family restaurant chain with a strong presence across the country. Our restaurants are fully licensed, and many have separate lounges to cater to various customer groups.

As a Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Table Management: Maintain table turnover, ensure all tables are cleaned, cleared, and reset as soon as possible.
• Guest Relations: Assist service staff and management in providing customers with a positive dining experience, maintain guest relations, and uphold Smitty's cleanliness standards.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash payments, debit/credit card transactions, and assist with takeout and delivery orders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Availability: Be open to working days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Trustworthiness: Show reliability and trustworthiness in handling cash and sensitive information.
