We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
