About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Persson Food Services Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Assembly of Trays: Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that they are prepared to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This position is based in a fast-paced food service environment, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires a high level of physical fitness, and the successful candidate will be required to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
