Registered Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at CVH (No. 3) LP. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in a retirement home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct specimen collection and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment:

Our retirement home provides a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure and be required to stand for extended periods. You will also be required to use manual dexterity and have excellent attention to detail.
