Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team at Roger. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing new user-facing features using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Your primary focus will be on translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, architecting efficient and reusable frontend systems, and collaborating with our UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless and performant web applications.

Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of and its core principles
  • Knowledge of Next.js
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Strong working knowledge of RESTful APIs
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Experience working with application caching systems (Redis) and CDNs (Akamai, Cloudfront)
  • Working knowledge of Git (and ideally of GitHub) or other versioning software
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proficient in code reviews and in providing constructive feedback to the team
