About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Demand Planner to join our team at Asahi Europe & International. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring robust demand plans are generated for Canada, driving collaborative planning processes, and influencing cross-functional volume consensus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans across various planning horizons, including 13-week, rolling 18 months, and 3-year plans, for a set of customers.
  • Drive collaborative planning processes, both internally and externally, particularly around new product launches.
  • Influence and obtain cross-functional volume consensus across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Customers, using insight-led analysis to demonstrate trends, performance, and future expectations.
  • Balance delivering excellent customer service levels while maintaining appropriate inventory to hit inventory value targets.
  • Generate the best possible demand forecast for Canada in collaboration with Commercial and Finance teams and insights from International Supply Chain Analysts.
  • Ensure appropriate systems disciplines are fully utilized, including Statistical Forecasting, history cleansing, segmentation, and other relevant tools.
  • Monitor actual orders against demand forecast, investigate significant variances, understand root causes, and impact across the wider Supply Chain.
  • Coordinate the monthly Demand Review process for Canada and volume forecast updates throughout the year.
  • Provide overviews of latest volumes performance versus targets to Commercial and Finance teams.
  • Work closely with International Supply Chain Analysts and Commercial Teams to influence operational behaviors of customers to optimize joint supply chain practices.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English
  • Pro-active and self-reliant, able to set own work priorities within the scope of the role

  • Pragmatic thinking, ability to solve problems drawing on previous experience
  • Strong Excel skills, SAP experience preferred
