About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer Intern to join our team at Amazon. As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that impact millions of customers, sellers, and products around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient software systems
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or majors relating to these fields
  • Earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree between October 2023 to September 2024 and/or graduated within the last 12 months
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
