Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at NORTHLAND PROPERTIES CORPORATION. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers, ensuring the best possible prices and terms.
  • Consult with suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties, ensuring compliance with our procurement policies.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve any problems or issues.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
