About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Smash Kitchen and Bar. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure that our staff have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Prepare Budgets and Reports: Develop and manage budgets and reports to track our kitchen's performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of success in managing kitchen operations.
  • Excellent Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on developing and empowering staff.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external partners.
