About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Dixie Lee Fried Chicken. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that meals are prepared and served on time.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
