About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Worker to join our team at Siegbert Steel Inc. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks to ensure the highest quality of our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products surfaces.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve optimal results.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in their tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve precise results.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Read and interpret work orders to understand specific tasks and requirements.
