Job Title: IT Lead Auditor

Join National Bank's Internal Audit team as an IT Lead Auditor and contribute to the team's audit mandates and advisory mandates while developing your expertise in risk management.

About the Role

As an IT Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for understanding how technology supports business processes, identifying risks related to information technology management, and establishing audit strategies to assess compliance with internal policies and controls.

You will analyze problems, identify root causes, and support partners in identifying innovative solutions. Additionally, you will promote data analytics to your team, present conclusions and recommendations to leaders, and contribute to the evolution of audit practices.

About the Team

You will be part of a team of around 15 professional colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit. Our team is known for its camaraderie, enthusiasm, and multidisciplinary skills, working in an environment that fosters growth and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the business sector and 7 years of relevant experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT risks audit, IT risk management, information security, or consulting in these areas
  • Knowledge of processes and systems related to Financial, Commercial, and Credit Markets
  • CISA, CISSP, CRISC designation
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools (ACL, Audit Exchange, IDEA, SAS, or other)
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong ability to understand business reality and influence at different hierarchical levels
  • Ability to understand complex realities, solve problems, and be innovative in proposing solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
  • Available to travel from time to time
